Stream info
Set your title, category, and tags once and push them to Twitch and stream.place together.
The Stream info module edits what viewers see about your stream on both platforms. Press I to jump to it.
Title
Enter one title for both platforms. Titles can be up to 140 characters, and the counter turns red when a title is too long.
To use a different title on each platform, select Use a different title per platform. Select Use one title for both to go back.
Category
Twitch and stream.place use different category lists, so the module has a picker for each:
- Twitch: Search the Twitch category list.
- stream.place: Pick a label such as Software Development or Just Chatting, or search the game catalog.
When you pick a Twitch category that has a matching stream.place label, Crossfeed selects that label for you. For example, Software and Game Development on Twitch selects Software Development on stream.place. You can change either one afterwards.
Tags, language, and content warning
Add up to 10 tags. Tags go to both platforms.
Language and Content warning only apply to Twitch.
Push your changes
Select Push to both to send your changes. The lamps next to each platform show the result:
- In sync means the platform has your latest changes.
- Changed lists the fields you edited since the last push.
- Pushing means Crossfeed is sending them.
- Push failed means the platform refused the change.
- Saved for go-live means you have no open stream.place livestream, because the last one ended or you haven't streamed yet. Crossfeed keeps the changes and sends them when your next stream starts on stream.place, or when you go live.
- Not pushed yet means Crossfeed has no stream info from the platform yet, for example before your first stream on stream.place.
Changes reach stream.place right away while your latest livestream there hasn't ended, even before OBS sends video.
The /title and /category chat commands push a new title or category to both platforms from the chat composer.
