Terms of Use

The terms for using crossfeed.live and the Crossfeed dashboard at app.crossfeed.live.
These terms govern your use of crossfeed.live and the Crossfeed dashboard at app.crossfeed.live, run by Entropic Software, owned by Louis Escher. Using either one means you accept them. The privacy policy describes what happens to your data and forms part of these terms.
What Crossfeed is
Crossfeed is a dashboard for streaming to several platforms at once. It connects to your Twitch account, your AT Protocol account, and OBS, and shows chat, alerts, stats, and stream info from stream.place and Twitch in one place. YouTube Live support is coming soon.
Crossfeed never sends your video. OBS streams to stream.place, and stream.place restreams to the targets you set up there.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 16 years old. You sign in with an AT Protocol account or an email address. The Twitch features need a Twitch account, and the stream.place features need an AT Protocol account. The demo at app.crossfeed.live needs no account.
Your accounts on other platforms
Crossfeed acts on Twitch, stream.place, and Bluesky with the permissions you grant when you sign in. Everything it does there, such as sending a message, banning a chatter, or changing your title, happens in your name and under the terms of that platform. You're responsible for following those terms.
Crossfeed asks you to confirm every ban, timeout, message deletion, chat clear, and restream shutdown before it runs. Once you confirm, the platform carries out the action, and Crossfeed can't undo it for you.
Sign out in the dashboard settings to remove the stored sign-ins from your browser. Revoke Twitch access at any time in your Twitch connection settings.
Private beta
Crossfeed is in private beta. Beta access is free and open to the accounts on the beta list. Features change, and things break more often than they will after launch. Before the free beta ends, every beta tester gets at least 14 days' notice by email and in the dashboard. Without a subscription, access ends on that date. Your synced settings stay until you delete them.
Subscriptions
A Crossfeed subscription costs €34.99 a year or €3.99 a month including VAT, or $39.99 a year or $4.49 a month plus tax. It's tied to your Crossfeed account. Subscriptions aren't on sale yet. Before they are, this section gets the terms for paid plans, including payment, cancellation, and your right of withdrawal.
What you agree not to do
- use Crossfeed to break the terms or rules of Twitch, stream.place, Bluesky, or any other platform it connects to
- use Crossfeed to harass people, or to send spam or unlawful content
- automate the dashboard or call Crossfeed's server routes other than through the dashboard
- attempt to reach other people's accounts or data
- place a load on the service that interferes with other people using it
Availability
Crossfeed is offered as it is. It depends on Twitch, stream.place, the AT Protocol network, and OBS, and it only works while they do. There's no promise that the service is reachable at any given moment or that a platform keeps offering the features Crossfeed uses. Your layouts and settings live in your browser and, with settings sync on, in a synced copy on Crossfeed's servers. Export them in the dashboard settings to keep a copy of your own.
Liability
The operator is liable without limit for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, liability exists only where a duty essential to the purpose of these terms is breached, and is then limited to the damage typical for this kind of agreement and foreseeable at the time. Liability under the German Product Liability Act is unaffected. Any further liability is excluded.
Links to other platforms, projects, and documentation point at content the operator doesn't control and isn't responsible for.
Changes to these terms
These terms change when Crossfeed changes. The date at the top says when they were last revised. Continuing to use Crossfeed after a change means accepting the revised version. A change that materially affects paying subscribers is announced by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect.
Applicable law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you're a consumer resident in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply in full.
Severability
If one provision here turns out to be invalid, the rest stays in force, and the invalid provision is read as the valid rule that comes closest to its purpose.
