Hello, Crossfeed!

Why did the streamer cross the road? Read all about Crossfeed, your new stream management interface, coming soon.

For a few years now, cross-streaming has been very popular. Basically ever since the dark days of COVID (and, maybe more important in this context, the Mixer exclusivity deals), streamers and content creators have tried to diversify themselves across platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and others. While it was originally not very popular, the gains in popularity and wider reach, as well as growing audiences on all platforms have made this the way to go for streamers in every category and community. Enter stream.place, a new streaming platform built on the AT Protocol, which now even has cross-streaming built in. It mirrors your stream right to where you want it, without the strain on your network. The streaming bit just got easier. But what about the management?

Even though the various platforms now receive your stream, you're still missing an essential part. How would you know if the audio is actually showing? What are people saying on different platforms? Aggregating the various data is incredibly tedious. Also, who is going to moderate across all platforms? Do you need new mods, does one now need to moderate three at once? And how will you even display all of those messages in your stream?

The problems described above are the reason Crossfeed exists: we want to make it easy to have an eye on everything, no matter how many platforms you're live on. We've got you covered on all fronts, with a combined chat view, moderation actions, a go-live checklist, stream telemetry, data collection, and useful overlays for your OBS. All for the small price of €3,99/Month (or $4,49/Month, depending on where you are). All of this is linked to your AT Protocol identity, which you can re-use from Streamplace, Bluesky or Semble.

We're looking to make this your go-to dashboard for when you're live, and aim to bring you the best tooling we can. If you'd like to try out Crossfeed early, please sign up for the waitlist below. We'd love to hear your thoughts. Keep an eye out for when we launch the full product soon, or follow us on Bluesky!

Crossfeed opens to beta testers first. Sign in with your AT Protocol account to get on the list. You enter your password on your own PDS, and Crossfeed reads your handle, DID, and the email on your account.

Invites go out by email, or from @crossfeed.live on Bluesky. The privacy policy lists what the waitlist stores.

Until next time.
